> Informations> Knowledge> Versch.> HannaThe small dinosaurs discovered in 1998 in the mountains of the Harz are full growth animals. This was determined now by the growth marks.This new kind is thus „a dwarf“ contrary to the other dinosaurs. They became meters long only up to 6 and did not weigh no more than one ton. (Became however up to 45 long and brought it used meters up to 80 tons)! These bones were discovered 1998 of the paleontologist Holger Luedtke in the quarry in long mountain. The animal was provisionally named „Hanna“. Soon however he is baptized in honours after his discoverer „Europasaurus holgeri “. So far it is the only head find of a sauropoden dinosaur in Europe. Models true to nature are in the Dinopark Münchehagen. |
